"absolutely lovely hotel! they staff were so kind and incredibly helpful. they rooms were nice and clean and the area itself is perfect for walking around to do some shopping. the train station is a 5-7 minute walk away which is also a plus. would happily stay here again!"

When I got to my room, the heating was off and there was no hot water, I contacted reception and within five minutes someone was at my room to look into it. "Very old fashioned pub which I liked with a decent choice of beverages. The man who helped us check in and later serve us drinks was very helpful, polite and present. However I didn’t like or understand having to leave my card details and effectively a deposit for items that had been made available in the room. If you don’t trust people just don’t have them available. The other issue was the floor in the room which was very unsteady and the hotel and hotels.com should really add that somewhere...
