"Lovely little stay in the Devon countryside, pool was great, staff were excellent. Property needs a little touch up here and there but rooms were big, gym was good and if you’re into golf it’s perfect."

"The hotel setting is lovely, full of trees and birdsong. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was immaculately clean. However, we could hear the occupant's in the room above us, quite clearly, getting into bed, using the bathroom and chatting, though fortunately, this didnt carry onto late or too early! The breakfast was nice, though is quite formal, but the breakfast team are charming and proficient. And parking onsite is a bonus. The hotel would benefit from modernisation, starting with a...
"The cooked breakfast was very good but the coffee was weak. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was motel style with guest access at the back of the property and lead out onto a road where you take a path between houses to get round to the front of the building and the car park. The owners did let us take a short cut through the pub upon check-in and check-out. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot but there was mould on the bathtub tiles and on the curtains in the bathroom...
