"What an amazing property - we spent three days there and it was not enough. Everything about Perle Oban was perfection wrapped up in a lot of fun! Gorgeous all around."
"The view here is spectacular. The bed could have been more comfortable (but I think everyone has a different opinion on what they like!) but the room itself was spacious, fantastic shower facilities. The restaurant was nice with a lot of food options to choose from. The coffee in the room was a nice change. The views…amazing. The staff were very friendly. Great stop-in hotel."
"This appears to have been recently renovated, so clean and in good repair. Rooms are incredibly small. Our bathroom was up three stairs…not good for the older generation. We did not try the restaurant. Staff were fine but we had minimal interaction as we just checked in, slept, and checked out. Fine for an overnight stay…not a long one requiring wiggle room!"
"Nice room, excellent location. But the bar was excessively loud till 1:00am. Just be aware when booking. They even hand out earplugs when you arrive."
"This property falls significantly short of its premium pricing and advertised standards. The website photos give a misleading representation. Upon arrival, the room exhibited severe maintenance issues: heavily stained carpeting, torn wallpaper, and yellowed skirting boards. Spare duvets were unceremoniously bundled into the wardrobe, making storage unusable. Furthermore, the bed consisted of two single beds not joined together, leaving a deep, uncomfortable gap down the middle. The bathroom...
"Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses.
And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place...
"Great location & breakfast.
Went out of there way to accomodate myself as a Coeliac.
Offered plenty of information on where to go around the area.
The owners are lovely, highly recommend."
"Nice place to stay at on your way north. The host is super friendly and super nice and super helpful. We had a good time, especially the skylight, kitchen, and sauna."
