The property was clean and served its purpose. It was essentially a great overnight hostel environment if you want to break up a trip from the Isle of Skye to Edinburgh without breaking the bank.

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Dan, possibly the friendliest, more passionate human being on this planet. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we were taken care of for dinner as there isn’t much around. He sent us to the local pub with lanterns as the walk there gets dark and it added a pretty fun experience to our evening. The property is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We played games in the lounge and had the best sleep in a very cozy and comfortable room. Will definitely come back.

Very nice location, on the water near The Corran ferry which you can access to go to restaurants across the loch. Large parking lot, very comfortable common areas to include a large living room/lounge area, kitchen and outdoor space. The rooms are quite small but sufficient if only staying 1-2 nights. The shower was very small so if you are tall or large, you may have an issue. We enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed in a bunk room with family of 5, everyone loved it. The room is basically just beds and a bathroom but was spotless and nice. Common kitchen and lounge area were well equipped and welcoming. The manager Dan is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and gave us all kinds of great advice on where to go. It was still pretty cold when we went so the outdoor areas were closed off but I’d bet they would be amazing in good weather. Best of luck Dan, we’ll cheer for Bolton unless they play Spurs!

What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star.
