"We had a brilliant time stayed for 3 nights and had our dog with us who got treat as well as we did. Lovely accommodation and room couldn’t fault it. Only thing was the bar closed quite early "

Breakfast was excellent, served and cooked well. Room was clean and well maintained. Definitely would return. Grumps…no wifi on top bedrooms. Heating was controlled centrally and was chilly."

"Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

"Stayed before and like the hotel. Fit for purpose and good value for a nights stay. Welcome not as good as usual, bit disappointing and didnt have a meal there as I usually do due to that fact. "

"Only downside was an extractor unit which ran round the clock. A bit like sleeping on a ship or aircraft, you quickly got used to it. I’ve booked another stay, so it hasn’t put me off."

"A beautiful hotel . Lovely staff nothing too much trouble very clean lovely bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities.. they even put a tv out In the courtyard so guests could watch the FA cop final !! Will definitely be back !"

"Our stay here was brief but I was happy to see that they were willing to serve dinner not long before closing. (There aren’t a lot of dining choices nearby.) It is an older property but everything functioned and was clean. Boot tray in the closet for wet boots was a good feature, although we lucked out with the weather. We also appreciated the bottled water. We enjoyed the cook-to-order breakfast and overall friendliness of the property. The view of the bridge and stream was outstanding. "

Coffee and tea Fruit juice Cereal or tinned fruit Full English Toast Or crumpets All the general areas, toilets and bedrooms very clean Not so good- Our room needs redecorated ( room 6) Large stain on carpet and many marks on walls with very old shabby curtains...

"Lovely staff, always friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues which were quickly and efficiently dealt with. Be aware, if travelling with older people you may want to book an executive room which are located on the ground floor, it being an old building other floors can be difficult! Breakfast was also lovely, even catering for my Vegan tastes! Thank you all again!"
