"Have stayed in this hotel many times over the years, very helpful and polite staff, always very happy to assist. Room was comfortable and suitable size for a quick 1 night stay. Quiet enough considering proximity to the airport. Good amenities and the free breakfast is a great addition."

"Small, friendly, helpful & clean. Room very comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. Only comment was that there was no long mirror in the room. The one in the assessable room was in the toilet/shower room & therefore became less assessable when the toilet was in use plus became very steamed up & unable to be used. Such a small thing so not a problem & we would definitely use this hotel again. Dinner was very nice as was breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the little bar of Arran hand soap supplied for hand washing. Coffee & tea supplied in the room very handy. Thank you for a lovely visit."

"We checked in extremely late, but there was desk staff , and the process was very quick. We were only in the hotel to sleep as we had a wedding nearby. We were in the newer building which is functional and clean. The rooms in the original building though looked amazing. Wood panelling everywhere and a real stately home vibe. Our package didn't include breakfast. Parking was plentiful. When we check out a lovely lady (I didn't get her name) gave us some amazing recommendations. I would like to say thank you to her. She recommended Dean Castle in Kilmarnock. We spent a wonderful few hours there. Thank you so much for your advice"

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. You can walk through the back garden out onto a path along the sea front which also leads down to the beach, spent the morning after breakfast walking along it and enjoying the great weather! "
