"Absolutely disgusting property. Health and safety would have a field day. Hallways strewn with duvets, covers, towels. Dirty cups and empty cans. Leadsover the hallway floor. Matresses blocking hallways. No soap in dispensers for simple bathroom hygiene. No protective covers on mattresse, just a fitted sheet on top. Windows with no handles. 8 parking spaces that you can't prebook, but if you are lucky it costs £10 per night. DO NOT STAY HERE"

The only reason this place isn't getting zero stars is the location, but even that comes with a massive "buyer beware" warning. The Mobility Nightmare: While the hotel is close to the beach, "close" means navigating a relentless series of steep stairs. This theme continues inside; there are stairs to get everywhere. "I like the character and location of the property and the staff are doing the best that they can. The property is dated and in need of investment. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner (hoovering the carpet which did not seem to happen during my stay) and the bedding did not fit the mattress. The staff were kind and helpful though some better manners from certain bar staff would have gone a long way. The food was great."
