"Could just use a good cleaning. We could tell its a work in progress. This hotel has so much potential!! I would suggest a way to cool it better. With the pool in an area that is open, the lobby and seating area feel hot and humid. The workers were all friendly and helpful. "

"So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting "

"We reserved a nonsmoking room and they put us in a smoking room. Thankfully they switched us the next day. Our new room was comfortable but there was mold in the bathroom and noticeable water damage throughout the room. Beautiful property and affordable prices but I will not stay there again. The staff was pleasant other than the young gentleman at the front desk."

"We stayed at the Rustic Main and the location was perfect for us to enjoy the nightlife of Grafton. Cottage was very clean and the bed was actually comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again!"
