"We booked hotel Rex last minute so we could just wake up and hop on the train in Lucca. It had everything we needed but no extras. I would only spend one night here. Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."

Only issue is that it’s a ten minute walk into the city of Lucca, but not a big deal if you’re mobile. Would recommend."

"If given the option, don’t stay here. The comforter had staining of reddish/brown dots, there was other peoples hair in the bed, and we got laughed at when we asked someone to take a look and change the sheets. Once they were changed, we were speaking with the front desk girl and we inquired about the possibility of bed bugs and were told “if you can’t see anything there aren’t any” and ended the discussion.
On top of this, you’re locked into the parking and it has to be opened by the front...

"A wonderful hotel that is close to everything.
Opposite is a lovely park, great for walks or to visit one of the many restaurants during the heat of the day. Up the road is the Villa Argentina which is definitely worth a visit and it’s a 15 minute stroll along the promenade to the port as well as being close to restaurants.
On arrival we were met with smiles and a lot of warmth. Our room was ready early, which was great, otherwise they can look after your bags.

par contre, contrairement aux infos d' Expédia; aucun parking (limité) à l’hôtel, juste des places de parking payants (10€/jour) dans la rue en "cul de sac" avec environ 30 minutes d'attente en moyenne (sauf coup de bol) pour qu'une place se libère
