"I’ve booked the hotel wanting to use the pool as I had over 6 hours drive to get there and sadly it closes at 8 on a Friday. The room didn’t have any extra locks, the telephone didn’t work and the bed was very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise of people chatting outside by the window of the room and you can literally hear EVERYTHING from room to room. I didn’t feel very safe as an alone woman without a proper lock in the room and a non working telephone (which they came to...
"Als Geschäftsreisender auf der Durchreise war es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Frühstück war frisch gemacht und sehr lecker"
"Staff were very helpful, I turned up early and they checked my car in and completed all the check in forms ready for 3.00 . Room was clean and amenitys were good."
"It was great to stay in a place that felt trapped in the past.
Even with the building being hundreds years old, the room was really clean and I was impressed with the standard.
The room was very spacious and comfortable to stay in.
Breakfast options were good and freshly made to order."
"Clean comfortable room evening entertainment was great for the elderly! However we was 3 ladies attending an event else were but we did pop in the bar were their was a male singer who was absolutely amazing with his lovely dog. The bar could do with more selection of drinks, very limited!"

None of the bedside lights worked. Only one bulb worked in the main room. There was a small window without a curtain, anyone passing by could look in and clearly see anyone who happens to be sitting or lying in bed. The bathroom was okay , although noted cracked...
"While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time."
