"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."
"The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour.
Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom.
The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around.
The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose...
"Perfect stay with my daughter for few days. Staff are so friendly and helpful all the time. Can’t fault the whole experience. The only thing I’d pick on was the smell in the toilet in our room, it’s probably due to the sewage system. The stafff came to attend and fix the smell every time we raise the issue.
It’s really been a great escape ."

"The good: amazing views and absolutely gorgeous hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent.
The ok: when staying on the top floor the stairs are rough after a long day of walking. There’s no elevator but that’s the trade off for an old and historical building. The air conditioner is fantastic but does turn off half way through the night.

"We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning.

In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!.
In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...
"Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick. Das war fantastisch. Das Personal beim Frühstück hat uns positiv überrascht, da ein Teller zum Auffangen von Speiseresten beim Abwischen der Tische benutzt wurde. Es kamen auch zwei verschiedene Putzlappen zum Einsatz (dies haben wir bei den 5 Sterne Luxury Resorts nicht gesehen!). Der Frühstücksraum hat fantastischen Meerblick. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist der Kategorie angemessen. Parken ohne Service ist vor dem Hotel an der Straße möglich."
"Das Hotel war super gelegen und hat es dort sehr gefallen da wir eine gute Lage für Ausflüge haben wollten und dafür war es perfekt. Man kann sich vor Ort einen Quad mieten und in nur 30 min an Balos Beach hinfahren. Auch mit dem Auto kann man in nur einer Stunde zum Elafonissi Beach hinfahren, und die Fahrt dort hin ist schon ein Erlebnis wenn man die längere Strecke in Kauf nimmt. Das war bisher der schönste Strand den wir je gesehen haben.
