"I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. "Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. "

"Very friendly and hospitable staff. They greeted us with juice, personal introductions and help with luggage upon arrival, and even washed our car overnight! Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette, crepes, and fresh fruit. We had a bit of trouble getting there due to Google maps sending us on a roundabout route (very narrow dirt road) when we should have gone straight from the main paved road to the front entrance. Overall, a pleasant overnight. "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH ORBITZ/EXPEDIA! We booked through Orbitz only to arrive and have the receptionist tell us they do not accept bookings through Orbitz or Expedia. We then had to pay the girl at the reception TWICE what the booking rate on Orbitz was. To make matters worse Orbitz has NOT given me a refund for this. I called and explained the situation to Orbitz and they said they would get back to me. Nothing from them! "
