"This 1930s-era palace features colonial-era furniture and art that makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time or staying in a museum. Conveniently located just steps from the market and a block from the main church. Beautifully maintained including old world charm like wood stacked in a hearth box next to your fireplace, fresh water in a carafe and goblets on a tray, and beautiful courtyards. Authenticity throughout added to the richness of the experience. We felt like royalty!"

"Beautiful property would definately come back in the warmer months. A little away from main downtown Panajachel but the Tuktuk would pick us up no problems. Yvan was supernice and helpful. Walked 25min to the thermal waters and what a nice hike and experience. His brother the Chef cooked up some Syrian cuisine that was amazing! We only wish we had another day or two to try it again. Loved, loved, loved it!"

"This property is gorgeous! We loved sitting on our front porch area and enjoying the gardens. The place is gated and has security at all times so we always felt very safe on the property. The room was cleaned every day and it was always quiet after 10 PM. There’s a lot of amenities on the property. It was super convenient to walk over to the restaurant whenever we wanted a snack or a drink. We lounged by the pool and used their free kayaks. "Heavily recommended Arca De Noe over the more popular places around the lake. Some reviews here say they could hear Free Cervesa next door, but I couldn’t for my whole stay. It’s very quiet and very beautiful, I never felt like it was over crowded or over booked as other properties on the lake tend to be. Excellent food as well"

"We loved our peaceful stay here. It’s clear that the volunteers really care about guest experience - especially Nicole. Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. Be warned that if mobility is an issue, you should not stay here as the cabins are hundreds of stairs from the restaurant.
