"All levels of the hotel team were exceptional! Friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and always delivered with a smile. We plan to return in the new year. No need to go anywhere else. Much thanks from Canada! "

"A lovely stay at a really impressive hotel. The hotel is stunning, it’s right on the seafront with free parking. The grandeur of this building is impossible to ignore. Our room had a sea view, it was quite small but perfect for one night. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely book here again. Thank you 😊"

"Conveniently positioned opposite the Cathedral. Limited parking behind the pub. But on-road parking outside the pub itself. Nicely decorated rooms. Extremely helpful, and friendly staff. Only a short walk to facilities shops/resaurants etc (albeit uphill on the return). Good food at the pub itself. Excellent continental breakfast selection"

"Room ok, but peeling paper above window and broken window catches and broken lamp shade by bed (window side). Bathroom needed a plug for the sink, mould on ceiling above the bath/shower and mastic should have been removed from the tiles (near sink and over bath) where soap dispensers had been removed. No brandy at the bar. Chips supplied with meal were luke warm (nobody came to ask if things were OK). Had to ask for full breakfast to be reheated. Stayed here before, so rather disappointed this time. Will stay here again - as this may have been a one off."
