"Room was fine with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and of à high quality. Would definitely stay here again"

"It’s alright for the price. Beautiful old main building but the rooms in the external properties (which it wasn’t clear we’d booked) were very basic, almost youth hostel style. The thermal journey in the spa was a bit of a let down. Quite a small area and very busy. The price said it included slippers but it didn’t and it felt a little like a living Petri dish. The only negative feedback is that the Pizzas were not very nice however all the other food was absolutely amazing so please don't take this feedback the wrong way. "Rooms were comfortable. Good beds and duvets. Wonderful view! Staff were very approachable and pleasant. The breakfasts were good apart from the last day when no hot breakfasts available. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal but were disappointed there was no hot drinks available afterwards. Not easy to park for larger vehicles."

"The hotel itself is very dated that is also as its an old building and the character of the building is from 18th century. The room was okay and can be improved. The staff looked agitated and not very friendly. The restaurant menue is overly priced and very limited. No service except within limited lunch and dinner time with pre booking."

"We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel doesn't have a car park but the young lady on reception told us what to do, she let us leave our bags in reception and gave us directions to the local cricket club just around the corner ( 2 min walk) there is an honesty box at the cricket club for the parking fee.
