"Super modern hotel in cannareggio area of Venice. Its about 5 min. walk from Guglia alilaguna stop and about 20 min walk to st. Marks square. Very spacious and more updated than I expected for a hotel on the island. Had a wonderful stay, look forward to staying at in the future."

"The staff were great & super welcome and check in. Downside was we couldn’t reduce the aircon to a lower temp & room was way too hot. Plus all the pillows and duvet were feather filled - a problem for my allergic wife. Great location near to main attractions and facilities; restaurant good too. "

"Great hotel, in the traditional, grandiose style, which couldn’t be more convenient for the water bus stops…. right across the road. Lots of places to eat and drink around, including the restaurant and gelateria in the hotel itself. Plus the best view of Venice you’re likely to get from the rooms. Great place. Hope to stay longer next time…. though I will bring a kettle for the room, next time!"

"Beautiful hotel. Check in was smooth but you have to check in across the street. The shower is very small but as an American I guess that’s something you have to get used to when you’re in Europe. Other than that it was a nice stay. Would recommend. "

"When you stay at Marconi you taste a piece of history from 1930s. I loved the location it is right on the grand canal just meters away from Rialto bridge. The restaurant next doors serves up amazing food including a a seafood spaghetti that I can eat everyday for rest of my life. "

"Excellent location with very friendly staff. Room was a good size with a canal view. Close to train station. Walkable to everywhere. The only negative was the shower. There was no curtain and it was impossible to regulate the water temp. It kept alternating between very hot to very cold no matter how you tried to get it a consistent temp."
