"The check in was available and helped us even though we arrived very late into the night by. The staff was helpful and friendly, they called us to tell us the pizza we ordered was ready downstairs. There were a lot of space and a lot of beds so it was comfortable."
"The location of the Altstadt Hotel in Old Town Zürich was definitely the highlight of the property. For the price, the room was tiny and the cleaning staff did not thoroughly clean our room but rather tidied up. We used glasses and mugs for coffee, and they left the dirty dishes in the room which we thought was odd. Other than that, we thought the stay was simply fine vs excellent. It did the job but certainly left some things to be desired."
"Das Zimmer war sehr günstig. Alles war sauber. Das Interieur war modern und zweckmässig. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht und der Ventilator müsste man ersetzen. Gratis Getränke in der Minibar danke vielmals. Nicht mal 5 Minuten zur Bushaltestelle. Ideales Hotel für eine kurze Nacht. Ohrstöpsel sind zu empfehlen."
"There’s no AC in this property. For an extra 20 francs you could be upgraded to a room with an AC unit. However you can’t adjust the climate (beacause of city law) therefore you’re in the same hot room as before.
I left the property 2 hours after I went into my room and moved to another hotel with AC and no restrictions."
"The young man that greeted us at reception was a delight. We remain to feel very welcome. There room was clean and spacious. My husband enjoyed the complimentary expresso and I the ice cream :) Recommend viewing the city from the rooftop at night. Easy access to public transport."
