"We booked the accommodation for four nights and checked out after just one night. The room was of a very small size, comparable to a shoebox, with inadequate ventilation and lacking essential amenities such as a phone and iron. Upon requesting a room upgrade to a larger unit, we were informed that a change would be arranged by the morning. However, the morning staff denied the request immediately upon arrival. Due to the unsatisfactory service and conditions, we chose to check out early....

Rooms very dated and furniture old but it was acceptable, very quite location good nights sleep. Windows in the bed room opened lovely and wide so loads of fresh air on a hot night. Wonderful view of the Wallace monument. Did not have breakfast as early start.Loads of parking on site and not charged if you entered your reg at reception."
"We picked this hotel as it was close to OVO Hydra for a concert The reception is actually the bar - no issues with that Check in was straightforward Our room was adapted for people with disabilities so the bathroom was a wet room, but the shower head fittings were of such poor quality we couldn’t adjust the shower head so needed wellies to use the toilet as the wet room floor flooded. No shower gel either which was only apparent when in the shower I wanted to hang up my towel but the shower...
"Inexpensive, well located, basic, nice room but very compact. Designed for people who are seeking good, comfortable accommodation, but for whom the accommodation is just a place to stay while traveling. I would most certainly stay here if another Z Hotel again."
"This is a great hotel especially if you’re travelling the next day . Clean rooms , quiet hotel and they have continental breakfast starting at 4am if you have an early flight . Would definitely use again ."
"For us it was the perfect stay. Staff was so friendly and helpfull the whole time. You can reach everything in a few minutes and the river is also just a few steps away. Can’t wait to be back next year."
"This is a new hotel and there were a few finishing touches left incomplete, like missing towel bars in the toilet. I'm sure they will finish everything, but until then I had to hang my wet towels on the door handle to dry."

Negatives: Upon arrival, chap on reception was having conversation with someone on phone and continued to do so whilst we checked in. Felt this unprofessional and rude. Family room. Lock barrel to the room loose. Curtains didn't fully fit the windows, so we were overlooked by another room straight onto daughter's bed, which made her feel...
"General areas were a real let down. The cleanliness of the property and rooms was not what you'd expect. There was a general sense the staff wanted to improve everything and they were helpful and welcoming, but the can't change the disappointment we felt about room and hotel facility.
It would be a great hotel with TLC and a decent decorating and deep clean budget."
