"On arrival we were greeted in a polite cheerful manner, and shown to our room. The room and onsuit facilities were clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and approachable. The food was great, well presented and apatising. Overall a friendly welcoming establishment. We would definitely stay there again. "

One suggested improvement is to replace the electric kettle in the room as it switches off on its on shortly after turning on. A small complaint about the sound insulation. One has to bear noise nuisance if you were staying downstairs with occupancy immediately above."

"Lovely landlady made us very welcome. The whole place is very olde worlde, which I really like. The room had all we needed and more. Quiet, due to the cottages thick walls, no doubt. Plenty of parking. Nice soft, twin beds. The photo does it justice."

"We had an over night stop on way to Devon. Were able to fit time in pool, steam room and sauna. These facilities were excellent however the general decor was tired and in need of maintenance. E.g. door frames near pool were rotten at bottom."
