"Excellent location. Convenient and walkable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again"
"We were very pleasantly surprised to learn our 1 room family suite had 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
Only issues were that we only had 1 key which made it tricky every time we went separate places. Also there was an illuminated exit sign in the king bedroom we had to cover up it was so bright, and when others shut their doors it would thump ours. (The toilet was a bit loud, but nothing egregious.)
The LOCATION was fantastic. I was concerned that possibly there would be noise from the harbor across the street…nothing....

Then I saw 'Withy Gill' listed on the website and booked for a 4 night stay in August. Having now had our holiday and wandered round Orkney and Stromness, how glad am I that I found it ! Simon the host contacted us a few times before our trip and always responded to any queries we had. The cottage itself is great,...
