"Booked a one night stay as meeting up with a group of friends for a night out in Newark. My (standard) room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The bar/dining area was very cosy with local beers (Pheasantry) on draught. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and the breakfast was superb. Excellent value for money - highly recommended!"

"A lovely quaint building with a lot of character greeted us. I could not find reception as everything is done from the bar. The Hotel had a very busy bar for the local Night Time Economy but the few present Staff Members were just awesome throughout. It had to be said that the food was excellent at the restaurant. The only downside was the noise at night from the bar toilet hand dryers and the bar Patrons outside and the matresses were a little uncomfortable but adequate. Definitely would stay...
