"My 2 rooms were on the ground level next to the lobby. It was noisy until late at night. The room, furniture, kitchen and bathroom were all very old. The shower was in a bad shape. The restaurant and dinner buffet had very low quality food for fairly high prices. Much nicer restaurant are all around the hotel with good food and good services. The hotel is located in a great area though."

"The room and bathroom were full of mould. The ceiling in the room above the window was mouldy. The bathroom was a nightmare, mould all over the bath and the bath-curtain. It was disgusting and so unhygienic. "

"Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal überaus freundlich – sowohl der Besitzer als auch die Dame, die das Frühstück zubereitet. Das Frühstück ist klein, aber fein: Auf Wunsch wird ein frisches Omelett zubereitet; zudem gibt es verschiedene Käsesorten und frisches Obst. Für uns hat es vollkommen ausgereicht. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer; man hört vorbeifahrende Autos und Passanten. Auch Regen ist deutlich hörbar, was uns persönlich jedoch nicht gestört...

"though I was only there for a night, Pedro was an absolute doll, was very attentive when I had arrived past the check-in time and super helpful and recommending a restaurant that was more local and extremely friendly. The location is perfect for the area where restaurants are right down the road and you are walkable to the promenade. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! "

"Cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in and Michelle greeted us so warmly, until we checked out five days later, our stay was made special by the helpful staff, clean rooms, with lovely views, and super food. All the staff would go above and beyond to meet our every needs and even some special requests. The hotel is in a lovely small village with lots of walking and nearby sights to see. Highly recommend it. "

"Wir sind angekommen und haben ein Zimmer direkt an der Straße mit zwei kaputten Fensterscheiben bekommen. Am liebsten wären wir gleich wieder abgereist. Das Restaurant im Hotel gibt es nicht. Zum Essen hätten wir noch einmal das Haus verlassen müssen, mit dem Mietwagen, im Dunkeln, nachdem wir seit 14 Stunden auf den Beinen waren und bei Madeiras Straßen, no way. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten und hatten tatsächlich Glück. Ein Zimmer nicht an der Straße, mit Balkon...

"Aussicht auf Dächer, habe keine Seesicht gewünscht, Zimmer war sauber effizient, Bett/Matratze sollte ausgewechselt werden. Personal ist auf Wünsche eingegangen, es war immer eine Ansprechperson da, freundlich, hilfsbereit. Frühstück : für mich persönlich alles da: Kaffee, Eier warm egal wie, Haferflocken, Joghurt, Frucht. "
