"Only used for a short stay before flying from Leeds Bradford.
It was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was fine. Otherwise we only had 1 drink in the bar before an early night.it was quiet and warm. Building looked a bit sad."

"A lovely hotel, just a short walk along the side of the canal, to the town centre.
Our room was lovely, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of shelving and hanging space. A very comfortable bed, always a bonus.
The en-suite was modern with an efficient walk in shower.
The breakfast area was well laid out and comfortable. There was a good range of cereals etc. The cooked portion of the breakfast was cooked to order and was first class. The Eggs Benedict is wonderful, ham off the bone.

"We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them. "Room was compact but comfortable, the bed especially comfortable. Best in room coffee ever! TV was impossible to sort out, HUGE but useless. A leak from toilet cabinet meant floor was wet most of the time, and was reported to manager, I'm sure it'll be fixed for next people. Pub is oozing with atmosphere, food is excellent. Staff are great.
Somebody could pick up litter outside once in a while to improve the look."

"The drive resembles an entrance to building site, large pot hoke. Wall paper peeling off in bathroom, bed mattress bigger then bed base/6 inches over hang but was comfortable. Heavy duty curtains r/h hanging on by 2 clips, tv stand broken & lots of dust + no back up toilet roll. Didn't go down for second breakfast as it's not even continental.
