"The company managing the property only seemed interested in telling us about their requirement to make an arrangement to cover breakages at the property during our stay. We could either pay an insurance fee or a deposit which would be returned minus an administration fee 14 days after we vacated the property - why 14 days? There was no clear information about this requirement until after the booking was made, by which time we could not cancel. We assumed that due to the operation of a scheme...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cote cottage and it was the perfect size for us. It had everything we wanted. It is slightly remote and peaceful but that's exactly what we wanted, however it's not far to get to local amenities. Check in was a smooth process. There is also free on-site parking for the car which was a must for us. The beds were comfy too. In the end, we were sad to leave. We will definitely look to coming back if we're in the area again!"

"Beautiful Location and Immaculate Cottage! Everything spot on. Just a 5 min walk from the Wedding Venue. Local Spar shop with everything you need (or forgot!). Hosts are easily contactable via email, text or phone. Highly recommend this Cottage. Definately stay again!"

"Nice small hotel, good bed and shower and nice staff. Small store nearby. Restaurant across the street. So not bad. But my reservation was misleading, it stated that breakfast was included and there was just cereal/oatmeal and coffee/tea in the room. No milk, all dry. Also for those walking Hadrian’s Wall, Wylam is inconveniently far from the trail. "
