"I loved the staff at front deskand the breakfast and free coffee bar 24 hours. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was just cobbled on. It did not hold the toilet paper securely. The toilet seat was not the right variety for the toilet type, misfit and awkward. There were dust bunnies adhered on the textured ceiling above my headboard. Faux wood floor very slick in bathroom especially in front of toilet even though the floor was not wet. I wanted to swim but the pool was closed. ...
"We got to hotel and had prepaid for room for three nights. Was told no rooms were available. Staff was sending guests to other hotels. We were told if waited they could quick clean a room for us.
Waited for 45 minutes. Bedsheets were dirty with crumbs and hair. We were able to get clean sheets from front desk and we made up our beds. Hair was in shower in wall and in tub. Do not recommend!"
"No fresh food for four days. No counter service. Bed was ok, but no king size beds. Toilet did not fully flush. Sink cabinetry cracked. Toilet size for children. Room wall light did not work. Window curtain broken. No motel signage. Property not suited for general public. Smells bad. This motel needs to be bulldozed."
"The room smelled moldy. We booked the room through Expedia but when we checked in the hotel wanted an additional $30 with no explanation for the additional cost. We were tired from driving all day so just paid it. The TV in our room did work. The staff attempted to fix the tv but were unsuccessful. They reluctantly moved us to a different room but we had to insist. The coffee served in the lobby was obviously instant coffee and the free breakfast was OK."
"We had a very nice stay over. Tidy and clean outside, accommodating staff at check in. The room was clean, huge, quiet and a comfy bed. Hotel is just across from Grotto of the Redemption a must see just after sunset also. Staff is friendly & helpful. Continental breakfast has a lot to choose from and a large indoor heated pool too. A very cozy, welcoming and clean hotel."
"Down there when the flood happened and the entire city closed down. There was nothing that the motel could do. Went back 5 days later to retrieve luggage. Motel manager came within 15 minutes to open our room once we found someone who knew his phone number. No issues with stay, we just happened to be there during a disaster."
"Found a Bed bug in bed although didn’t get bit. Guess that’s a plus. TV or internet didnt work wasn’t able to watch tv. Mostly construction workers were staying there vs. family or tourists."
"This hotel was obviously a Super 8 at one time, and has since become a locally owned hotel. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. The owner put in a flat iron (grill) and you can cook sausage, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. You can make yourself whatever you like. The room was comfortable and obviously clean. It was a delightful stay."
