"I didn't get the room I booked from the add. I was put in a room with no window, tiny, hot.The top of the side table was so sticky my phone stuck to it. No milk in little fridge. Shared bathroom with wet towels left on floor, shared toilet with no paper. No easy directions to get out. Got locked in stairwell."

"I have stayed at the Waterloo over many years whenever we have had a stopover in wellington. I have found it to be well placed in the city with both the train station and bus hub close by. Te papa is just a short walk away along the waterfront and if arriving by ferry the bluebridge ferry terminal is across the road, the interislander runs a shuttle bus to the train station . "It was terrible. There wasn't any base fir the bed and very soft. It gave me a back problem. Flush of toilet leaking. Had to step in a puddle of water for a shower. It doesn't drain properly. The fridge was not cold enough that even the milk split. The staff didn't contact the manager. They only apologised but that's it. When ring up the the number no reply or disconnect the call and don't reply. They have not refunded the deposit. So how do I contact or complain. Expedia, you'll should...

"Staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious except the bathroom, which was like being on the Cook Strait ferry. Small and combined with toilet. When showering the whole room got wet including the toilet. View of Harbour was nice in the morning with this in the trees outside. Good wifi for online meetings. Towels weren't very absorbent, but there were enough. Felt like a retirement village because that is what it has been in past."
