"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Schlussel! The self check-in was an easy process to complete, and our room was so clean and comfortable. The staff we met were very kind and welcoming. We were fortunate to have a room with a small balcony that over looked the courtyard area with fountain and the lovely church. The hotel is in the old town area and very close and walkable to shopping, restaurants, the beautiful water and historic bridges around Lucerne."
"Great stay at Hotel Engel!
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Engel. The staff were incredibly helpful with all of my questions, the room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the surrounding view outside the hotel was absolutely incredible. I also loved the breakfast, which had plenty of variety every morning. Plus, the convenience is unbeatable since the bus station is just across the hotel. Highly recommended!"
"Very good location to site see. Rooms are very small even by European standards. Our 5th floor room had rafters that you had to be aware of and you had to crawl over a person to get in bed. The staff was excellent in every way, from where to eat to luggage storage."
"The room was small but very clean and newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. View is incredible. The only downfall is this hotel is not easy to get to unless you have a vehicle. It is a very steep climb to walk with your luggage from the train station."
"It’s located at convenient location, not far from the lake and shopping area. The pods are really cool and the pod door slides and auto-locks. The bathroom amenities were nice. Overall a great experience"
"Amazing stay! So quiet, clean, and very attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent! It was the perfect stay to complete the entire Rigi panorama trail. Loved the hot tub all to ourselves watching the sunset in the evening."
