"Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up."

"We had an absolutely perfect stay at this sweet hale outside Volcanoes National Park. It was perfectly located right outside the park so you can be an early bird getting there first before the crowds. The place was beautiful situated in the rainforest area outside the park so you got the experience all the beauty and nature the area has to provide. "Our stay at the Fern Studio was excellent. The hosts, Elaine and Carter, were so incredibly kind and very communicative. Providing instructions early prior to our arrival and gave us lots of tips while we were there. Especially for the National Park next door."

"This is a cute little house perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a washer/dryer (we didn't use since we weren't there very long), there is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a fire pit on the deck that would have been nice to use, but the weather wasn't ideal (cold/rainy most of the time)."
