"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"The house is very spacious and very well equipped, more so than most places we have stayed. We enjoyed the decor and would like to have known more about Dr. Woods and family (original owners). We would have liked to have a TV somewhere in the house and the blinds in the corner bedroom need repair or replacement. I would also suggest a little work in the back as there are uneven surfaces and we are four senior citizens. All in all , it is a very nice property with great pricing!"

"It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous...
