"What a pleasant surprise! It’s adorable! The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was spacious, newly renovated, and quiet. It has a continental breakfast, with some extras like cottage cheese and also hummus. Not served together, but available. All served in a beautiful breakfast area overlooking their lake."
"Room was paid for in advance. Upon arriving, my son paid an extra $20 for early check on, and they ended up charging him a second time for the entire room. The keyosk was down and would no issue keys, so we ended up leaving. When contacting the hotel about it the next day, they claimed that they called as soon as we left to say we could come back, which was not true. We received no call. On top of that, we now paid for the room twice me"

"When we arrived there was no one on property, no one answered the phone numbers that were provided. Another guest finally got through to someone and we did finally get our code for our room. The sidewalks were disgusting with dirt and cigarette butts. We got into our room didn't smell the greatest my husband went to the bathroom there was no toilet paper and there was an unflushed mess in the toilet. There was black gunk in the tub drain and the bathroom floor didn't look like it had been washed...

"When we came to check in there was a couple in front of us that had just checked in and they were back up at the desk because their lights and AC did not work in their room. Took them about 15 minutes to get them another room. Finally got our rooms, went up and the floor was drenched. Water pouring in from somewhere. Went back down to the desk to get another room. Went up to that one and that floor was also pouring in water. They gave us towels to soak up the water. Told us that the maid had...
"Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed.
Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop...
"We have been coming to this cabin for almost 15 years & it never disappoints. You get the secluded Northwoods feeling while having the highway nearby making it easily accessible. The hosts do an excellent job leaving amenities & keeping the property kept up. We have been going to Florida for the past few years for our summer vacation & my 10 year old said this was his favorite vacation yet."
