The views are spectacular and the weather really showed off the mountains. The cabin itself is clean, well stocked and charming. We played foosball and PacMan in the game room. We had s’mores and sat by the fire pit and grilled burgers one night. We took a day trip into West Jefferson (I lived there when I was younger) It has definitely turned into a tourist town, but...

"This was a nice stay in a cool mini cabin. It is near the shops and restaurants of downtown West Jefferson, and easy driving to hiking or other interesting towns like Sparta or Boone. There's a little porch on the front, but not much reason to hang out outside on site - my only negative.Would recommend!"

"Our stay in Baker's Farmhouse was amazing. We were welcomed with some sweet treats, courtesy of Holley Dale and Tonya. They were super responsive when we needed anything and had so many thoughtful details throughout the home. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, pots, etc. There were many books, DVDs, and card/board games provided at the house, so something for everyone. The scenery is gorgeous, and the tranquility of the home and surroundings brings a peace over the whole...
