The property is very clean, quite comfortable, and convenient. I would definitely stay here again. Overall it was well maintained, but the lock on the outside door to the building was broken, probably fixed by now. Very helpful and pleasant staff, very quiet neighborhood in a very small town.

The property was priced very reasonably (approx $100/night with taxes). However, upon entry we were initially met with a location that did not appear well kept considering the landscaping was very weedy with weeds up to the waist in many areas, there was a tarp over a large section of the roof, and to our surprise there was no elevator. We (myself with parents in their mid-eighties) were on the second level as all first floor rooms were not available. It was concerning to watch them climb up and down the straight stairway (no turn in the stairs) to the second level. I will mention I did NOT ask for an accessible room but did not imagine a hotel without an elevator in today’s times. There were few cars in the parking lot, so we assumed many rooms must have not been in use. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. It appears the rooms were recently remodeled. Maybe the ones in the first floor are being remodeled (a thought we had considered since they were not available). The breakfast area was very clean also with well stocked continental breakfast: muffins, breads, packaged oatmeal, apples and bananas, sweet yogurt, and cereal. Plan accordingly if diabetic. The registration desk was staffed daytime hours with a kind, friendly woman. Overall the stay was good, but we would have chosen another location if we had realized my parents would have had to climb stairs to the room. We are still perplexed with the 9.4 rating on Expedia.
