"We knew it was a 2* but the thing that bothered us the most was the hard beds that are probably 30 years old and how loud it was towards the street but also inside of the hotel where the rooms are. Everything is tiled and zero sound proofing. Looking the door can be heard across the floor. While being in the bathroom you can listen to EVERYTHING that happens in the bathroom next door "
"Good spacious apartment, ours was a bit tired but work in progress. Lots of steps around resort so not really suitable for people with walking difficulties. Always free sun beds, says not to reserve but people still do, free aircon but only had hot water once in 6 days. Pool bar opens 09:00-17:00 needs to be open a bit later 10:00-18:00 maybe. All in all exceeded our expectations and great value for money, would stay again"
"Very nice and clean beach hotel. Small apartment with kitchen, fridge, air conditioning (tp pay on top), shared pool, continental breakfast included, literally 100mt from the beach, personnel super."
"We decided to book a night at Lato to see some friends nearby, and we’re so glad we did!
The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly, and the room was great. The bed was really comfortable, and the location was perfect for popping into town.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Lato!"
"The price is good for what you get. Don’t expect quality hospitality or more than a very basic stay. Overall location is convenient to shops, restaurants and the water."
"We had a wonderful stay at Elounda Heights Hotel. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind.
The breakfast was truly exceptional — fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with great care by the staff.
What really made the experience special was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and communicated in such a warm and genuine way, which made us feel at home throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking...
"I booked this Hotel for my parents as an surprise for my moms 60th Birthday. They were both absolutely happy with the Kitro Beach Hotel - especially the employees! Thank you for all your efforts for making my parents vacation unforgettable for them! I think I made a pretty good choice for them. 5 Stars!"
"Property is in a great location. Easy access to the local beach and the old town.
Rooms are tired and dated.
Wifi was poor.
Variety of food was good."
"A bit outdated, our room was directly behind the front desk and cleaning closet so not great to sleep in during the mornings. This info was not disclosed until prior to check in, otherwise room was very big, kept relatively clean."
"Not all rooms are beach-facing, as some rooms are in the semi-basement and some are facing the parking. No Condiments (coffee/Tea sachets/milk) in the room. Beach towels can be exchanged only on alternate days.
Breakfast spread is good, but every single dish repeats every day. Good proximity to the central strip and safe to head back at night. Lovely beach, great for sunset and free beds included.
Overall, an average place. Probably a no-frills budget hotel."
"Lovely, family run hotel, excellent buffet breakfast, clean pool, nice bar area, clean, nice room, all maintained well. Little shop for all your extras needed, on site."
