We didn't have to use the self-check in, as staff is not there all day/ night. There are a few steps up to the lift, a small reception area. Door locks are a bit tricky, but we enjoyed our stay. "The location is amazing, in the center of everything. Rooms are nicely appointed and beds comfortable. Nice breakfast, too. Rooms don’t have A/C so if you want ventilation you have to open the window. Most rooms look down onto a busy pedestrian street with restaurants that is noisy until 11pm or later, so that was my only issue. Loved everything else about the property."
