"What a gem!! We stayed for 4 days. Had to readjust our arrival and departure date at last minute due to typhoon Shanshan☹️. They even refunded our last day stay without asking as we had to leave a day earlier due to approaching typhoon.We arrived at midnight by train and the manager met us on site to welcome us and explain everything. Having a washer and dryer in one machine on site saved us! We would do a load of laundry every night and in the morning have clean clothes. Saved a lot of time...

Sera, one of the hotel staff was especially helpful when my daughter needed to be seen by a medical doctor. She called for us and arranged for her to be seen before the office closed.

"This is a gem of a hotel a short walk from so many wonderful attractions in Kyoto! The staff were top notch and helpful in every way. The view from our room was serene and the hotel decor was elegant. We did laundry while we were there and soaked in the foot bath.
