"This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time. "

"Renata was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Her home is lovely with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths and more than enough space for the 3 of us. The garden was beautiful and a nice place to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our visit. "We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again."

"During our stay in La Spezia, we did not have a rental car, which meant that for us, the walk to go downtown took about 30 minutes or more which we were not aware of. If you have a car to use, then it's a close drive! Just be aware if you are walking, it's a far walk to downtown and it's a LOT of uphill walking."

"We had a wonderful week with our 2 children here. The house has a fantastic view of the sea and is located on a quiet private road so it felt very safe and secluded. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was a great place for meals with a view. The local towns of Lavagne and Sestri Levante provided plenty of shops and restaurants and we were able to do a boat trip to Portofino and a day trip to Lucca in Tuscany. Highly recommended.
