"Made very welcome by all the staff. The coffee shop/cafe downstairs open from 8.00am to very late every day, was a big advantage. The staff work so hard. Great just to sit with the local people and listen to the beautiful Spainish language being spoken and observe people going about their day outside of the cafe. Plus the coffee, pastries etc all very yum. My checkout morning I left early to catch a train. The staff even bought me a cup of coffee, while I waited for the taxi. Beautiful service. Only downside to the Hotel (maybe just the room I was in) A bit noisy in the evening with the Tapas bars in the street. You do have a roller shutter and sound proofing door you could close. However, I couldn't find the controller for the air conditioner. So had to leave the door open to allow fresh air in. The upside is the Tapas Bar's did have great food, service & atmosphere. I will defiantly stay at Hotel Colon again on my return to Ronda."

"The service was beyond excellent. So friendly and helpful. The hotel was so lovely. Exceptiosnlly decorated. Breakfast was wonderful. Perfect location in center of town. It was a little noisy outside at night. The rooms were a bit warm but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are gorgeous. "

"Delighted with our spacious modern room on a quiet side street, not in the original older hotel a couple of steps away. Central to sights and tabernas. The only criticism I may have is the breakfast could be improved on. Other than that, staff were helpful and pleasant, would stay again!"

"Really lovely place to stay. Central to all the sights to see in Ronda. Very nice lady greeted us at reception and showed us to our room. The staff had WhatsApped me a couple of days beforehand asking what time I’d arrive. Really useful to have the number as the reception isn’t manned 24 hours. Pity we couldn’t stay 2 nights as it was booked up when I realised we needed a second night. Pool looked good (although I didn’t swim). Beautiful views over Ronda and beyond from both our apartment and the pool. "
