"Very friendly and helpful staff"

"I cannot think of a better place to stay in old town Zadar. Apartments was great. Staff was wonderful and stayed up late for us despite our late arrival. The breakfast was free, made to order and fantastic! The apartment/hotel is located in the center of the old town. Main cathedral is visible from the windows. All sites in old town Zadar are within five/eight mins walk. "

"I will give 3 stars for this property because the reception staff was very friendly and the location of this property. Regarding cleanliness not a good experience in the advert was told that will be cleaned every day but not true. We had to go and ask for it. On arrival, the bed wasn't prepared and no towels in the room so we had to go and ask."

"One of the best accommodation we’ve stayed in for a long time! Comfortable bed, good facilities in the room and reception staff very helpful and attentive. Room had a pleasant balcony overlooking the sea - perfect! Rooftop pool kept clean and sun loungers of good quality. Would highly recommend! "

"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"20 minute walk to sea front and a 10 minute walk to supermarket. Charming and helpful hostess and spotlessly clean! Very comfortable bed but Room a little dated. However will definitely stay again. "

"Better for longer stays"

"It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. To begin with, the apartment has only one air condition for three rooms which was unacceptable considering the fact that it was 38 degrees. There were no towels and they brought us finally a few towels which were dirty (no more comments). Also, the room stinks. And the lady who is supposed to be the manager is absolutely rude and impolite. On top of that, there was no hot water at all. Finally, when I asked for some extra sheets she found this...

"This hotel was a little hard to find at first, due to the way addresses work in Croatia. There was ample off-street parking and a little beach nearby. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful - she gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Restoran Pumpurela). This place (Vinjerac) has a very chill seaside atmosphere. The hotel is right on the edge of the water, next to a couple of restaurants and a small market. Our room at Tamarix was basically a studio apartment with a kitchen,...

"Super accommodation. 2 very comfortable en-suite rooms. Dishwasher an absolute bonus. A toaster would have been welcome. Stove and microwave no oven. Efficient air con in all areas. Was end of season so no restaurant or bar facilities. No direct communication with staff. There is an additional cleaning charge at the end not mentioned at check in!"

"We took the ferry from Zadar and drove to the apartment. Parking was also easy to locate on the premises. We had a super friendly welcome from Gianni who gave us a room with a great view and recommendations for different places to visit and restaurants to try in Dugi Otok.Thanks! We ate in the grill restaurant on our first night too and food was tasty and Gianni and the guys there were super friendly. "
