Yuma! There is a lively downtown historic district, some great restaurants, activities at the sand dunes, the wildlife preserve, and the river, and plenty of shopping for daily goods. Yes it is hot but that is only part of the year. Come visit.

Yuma has pleasant weather in February (I wouldn't want to come in the Summer) but this February trip had windy conditions which caused blowing dust and sand--it happens.
