Six bedrooms, every one with a king bed, so nobody draws the short straw. Winner picks the playlist.



The Space:

Mojave Moon is a group-friendly home on a fully fenced 1.5-acre lot in Yucca Valley, with a gated driveway for up to five vehicles. Open living areas and modern bedrooms keep everyone comfortable, and the yard is built for play, with a pool, hot tub, pickleball and lawn games. Six bedrooms, each with a king bed, share two full bathrooms and a half bath. Large dining tables inside and out make it easy for everyone to sit down together, which suits family reunions and friend groups who want activity and space in one place. Keep score if you must. The moon won't.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The fully fenced 1.5-acre lot gives the group plenty of room to play. Take a dip in the in-ground pool, warm up in the hot tub or get a pickleball game going, then fire up the BBQ grill for a meal at the big outdoor dining table. Lounge chairs line up for sun, and ping pong, cornhole and chess keep everyone busy between swims. When the sun sets, gather around the fire pits for stargazing. Sound travels far in the open desert, so please keep noise levels in mind, and expect occasional periods of higher wind.



-Living Area-

The open living areas are made for a group, with room for everyone to be together after a day out. Gather by the fireplace in the living room, line up a game of billiards at the pool table, or settle in with a show on the smart TV, which connects to your Hulu and Netflix accounts.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The kitchen is fully equipped with Cafe appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave, plus pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils and the basic essentials. The spacious layout and large indoor dining table suit groups that cook together, and the BBQ grill and outdoor dining table bring meals outside.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Mojave Moon has six bedrooms, each with a king bed, and modern, comfortable furnishings throughout. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath.



-Surrounding Area-

Mojave Moon is in Yucca Valley, with trails to explore and Joshua Tree National Park for climbing, scenic drives and sunsets among the Joshua trees. The towns of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree offer cafés, vintage shops and restaurants. Nights here are dark and clear, which makes the fire pits a natural spot for stargazing.

The Neighborhood:

Mojave Moon sits on a fully fenced 1.5-acre lot in Yucca Valley, minutes from Joshua Tree, on paved roads. The large driveway fits up to 5 vehicles; please open the gate and park inside the fenced area, as the road area belongs to the neighbor. Cell coverage is available, though reception may be spotty depending on your carrier.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Other Things to Note:

-House-Specific Rules-

► Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

► Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No external speakers allowed.

► Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

► Please shower before and after using the hot tub and pool, and rinse off oils and lotions before entering. No pets of any kind in the hot tub or pool, and no alcohol near the water. Please do not stand or sit on the covers, and keep them on and secured after use; they are for insulation only. Children must be supervised at all times. Please avoid the hot tub immediately after service, when chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time.



-Pool Heating Fee-

Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.

During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.



-Winter Pool Heating-

Please note that during the winter months, pool heating at Mojave Moon is limited and the pool may not exceed 70°F.



-Hot Tub Heating-

No fee to heat the hot tub! To turn the hot tub on or off, please send us a message. To conserve propane, we ask that the hot tub be requested within 2 hours of use.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there are exterior cameras located at the front of the house, a Ring flood light camera and a Ring video doorbell at the front door, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. A noise monitoring device is also installed. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage is available at the property, though reception can vary by carrier.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
