Home away from home

The Framhouse is a lovely little house. It was clean and tidy and decorated beautifully. The Hosts have thought of everything. I hope to stay here again one day!

Cozy and restful

We had another great stay at the Farmhouse at Lanterman's Village. Everything is as exactly as we remember it! We enjoyed the lovely living room decorated for Christmas, grilling on the patio, and the comfort of the bedrooms. This was our fourth time staying here and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the hosts Steve and Shawn again for providing a lovely guest home for Youngstown visitors.

The Most Welcoming House

Excellent House: Clean (spotless!), comfortable (very!), great neighborhood, fantastic porch and yard, has everything you need.. Highly recommend this Home!

Great stay!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The place was very cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great location near Mill Creek Park. If you forgot anything, no worries since the house was well stocked. We would definitely return, and hope to in the near future.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The amenities were an extra bonus. Would stay there again.

Renting was very easy and the property owners were very helpful and answered all questions quickly. I would highly recommend this house. Very clean and cozy.

Charming home away from homoe

This was our third time staying at this lovely home in Youngstown to visit family. We love how Steven and Shawn update it seasonally (in November the Christmas tree was up along with holiday directions). Everything about the home makes me smile, from the beautiful kitchen, to the comfy beds and the relaxing couch in the living room. We even got to grill in the backyard and enjoy the summer weather. Plus, you cannot beat the location steps away from Mill Creek Park and its miles of paths and trails. We can't wait to go back later this year!

Above & Beyond

This place is amazing. So quaint & clean and EVERYTHING is so well organized. The host goes above and beyond in what they provide and the attention to detail is superb. Great value

Why anyone would stay in a hotel instead of Steve's lovely home is beyond me. The snacks provided by the host were exceptional. Didn't have to spend funds at a restaurant for breakfast. Extremely nice touch with the toiletries provided as well.

This rental is above and beyond in so many ways. Beautiful decor, wonderful neighborhood, so many extra little touches and thoughtful extras. Lovely front porch and the cutest back yard. Family Visit

My husband and I use Vrbo for most of our long weekends. This one was the best stocked of all the house we have stayed at. There was coffee and creamer (which I always forget to bring) banana, apples, and oranges. Other easy to grab snacks. The area was nice and safe.

Perfect home away from home!!

Steve and Shawn are amazing hosts! It seems like they have thought of everything a guest could possibly want. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. The snacks are a nice touch! Backyard is comfortable, quiet and private. Mill creek park is within walking distance and is a beautiful park with so many options for a quiet walk - or a longer hike! Just what we needed!

Save some money

Traveling to Y-Town? Stay here instead of a hotel. You will have more room more privacy more quiet and most importantly more money in your pocket when you depart.

Very cute house

The owners have made this house like a home away from home. Everything is so detailed. I loved how everything in the house was labeled. They have just about everything you could possibly need in a home. It is very clean. Well worth the stay. We would love to go again.

A wonderful repeat stay

This was our second time staying at this beautiful farmhouse located walking distance to Mill Creek Park. We plan to stay here every time we visit because we enjoy the house so much. Again, we slept exceptionally well - the beds are so comfortable. The sectional in the living room was also a favorite (and super cozy!) to watch some March Madness games and a few movies. We were able to use the grill this time which worked wonderfully. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Thank you again Steve and Shawn for creating a calming space and a home away from home!

Family reunion

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The host thought of everything imaginable, the house was beautiful, cozy, tidy and well appointed. The front porch were so restful and welcoming. Steve was very responsive every time I sent an email with a question. We never imagined a VRBO would be so perfect. We hope to stay there again in the future when our travels bring us back to the Youngstown area. A huge thank you to Steve and Shawn for making our stay such a delight

Fantastic!

This comfortable little house has everything you need! Everything is so clean it looks like it is all brand new! Labels everywhere make sure you are never wondering how to turn something on or where something is stored. We'll be back!

Fantastic place!

This place is super cute and has everything! It is immaculate, everything is labeled so you don't need to search for anything, it is very well equipped with tons of extras (snacks, chargers, etc.) and Steve is very responsive. The lighted outdoor firepit was a favorite evening spot to relax, and the tables on the front and back porches were great for breakfast and lunch. Plus, it is super close the Lanterman's Mill, and not far from shopping. Be sure to get ice cream at Handel's! We are already planning to come back next year!

Say goodbye to the hotel

More cost effective, more privacy more space and complimentary snacks . I have just completed a booking for later this summer. What I consider to be is a major "bonus" is that The property owner, Steve lives nearby. Responses to inquiries very rapid. I will say though if there are more than (4) people in one's travel party, more spacious accommodations should be considered.

Absolutely perfect!

This home was perfect! Every detail thought of including a few things that you may have forgotten! They had charging cables, shampoo, snacks, and cleaning products! The house was extremely comfortable quickly due to it feeling more like a home than a rental. Mill creek was walking distance and so was an amazing coffee shop, Common Goods. I highly recommended this owner and this property if you are staying in the area. Their communication and hospitality was great!

Very inviting, comfortable & good location

We arrived late evening/early morning after a very long day of traveling. It was nice to arrive at a well lit and very cozy & welcoming home. It had all the amenities and comfort of home. The cabinets were tastefully labeled so it was easy to find your way around the home. Great location, close to Lanterman’s Mill, Mill Creek Park, restaurants and easy access to others communities. Steve the host was very attentive to our needs and stayed in communique with us. Would recommend staying here for complete relaxation, spending time with family and friends or just need a comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful home!

What an amazing home this is. Truly as advertised with all of the amenities you could possibly want or need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I loved sitting on the front or back porch drinking my coffee. The backyard fire pit, yard, games and yard games helped keep the kids occupied. Everything in the house was meticulously clean and organized. Steve was an absolute delight to communicate with. I truly felt at home and would happily return anytime I’m visiting Youngstown! Thank you for the incredible hospitality!

Look no further!

You will be so pleasantly impressed and surprised with this property inside and out. As all the reviews say … the house is well thought out and communication is amazing. It’s truly a home away from home. We slept like babies every night … that’s 6 nights! Hiking at Lanternman’s Mill is literally walking distance, but you can drive to park in their multiple lots. Handel’s ice cream after is a real treat! Meijer’s is the best for groceries and personal items. Pittsburgh zoo & aquarium is an all day great experience. We look forward to our return trip and can’t wait!
