"This ryokan was beautiful. We stayed in a refurbished room with a shower and balcony, which was modern and clean, though a bit small for two people and two suitcases. The front staff member was decent with English and everyone was very accommodating.
Note that this ryokan accepts luggage forwarding, and parking is ~1000yen per night."

"Great value if you need to stay in this area. The rooms are decent size, clean, no bad odor. The view from the 10th floor was pretty nice. Public bath was very nice. Breakfast buffet was included and had a good selection that was different on both days I used it. The restaurant was a bit hard to use at dinner because i was supposed to use a QR code but it just wasn't working on my phone but the server took my order manually. Staff was always friendly. Would definitely stay again if I ever come to this area."

"Fantastic hotel. Prime location, beautiful outlook onto the river and mountain behind. Beautiful interiors and rooms. Fantastic restaurant - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner and an evening drink up there. Kinosaki onsen itself is lovely we visited 3 onsen with the pass that they provided us. Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."
"Pretty impressed with their thoughtfulness and excellent service!
Deposited my luggage with them before check in so I could go sightseeing. When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! In addition, they offered me a hot towel and a choice of free welcome drink (you can choose from beer to soft drink or a snack). The breakfast is wonderful too! Piping hot miso soup based hotpot served with dishes made from local ingredients. Only drawback is it is a 10 min walk from Toyooka JR Station."
