"The place was great. The room was massive and was a good size for a family of 4. Although the hotel itself is more out of the way compared to a few others that are right near the other 7 onsens it makes up for it with the great service, free shuttle and their own lovely onsen. Although we got there earlier than our check in time and before they provided the shuttle into the main part they still offered us a lift to the ropeway which was helpful on a hot day. Their own onsen also had an outdoor bath and a cold one as well which was great. They had people that could speak mandarin and Cantonese which was useful for my parents. Everyone always had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

We were a bit worried that this might be too far from the center of town but on the contrary, it was an easy walk and we enjoyed being in a quieter location. Walk into town was beautiful. "Beautiful view over the bay. Lovely lounge open from 9-11 with free snacks and drinks. Fridge and kettle in room. Drying rack for clothes. Sitting area. Hotel is nice in lobby but rooms are quite dated. "

"Kinparo Hotel was exceptional. It’s rated a 3•.in Japan. But anywhere else it would be minimum 4* or 5*. Our room was beautifully decorated with an amazing view of the mountains and ocean.it was a real treat to stay in this lovely hotel. It’s also only 10 min drive / shuttle bus from Kinosaki which a lovely spa / onsen town with weeping willows on s small canal. The hotel is a hidden gem. "
