"Very cute room! Checking in on a kiosk was ok. You could hear all the other rooms and the adjacent train, so it wasn't a very quiet stay. Location is central to all the "big things". Parking is convenient."

"My family and I really liked "Our Neck of the Woods" cottage. We were returning home from a vacation in Michigan to St Louis and thought I'd be fun to go into Casey, IL to see all the world's biggest attractions before closing the book on vacation 2026. This property is quiet and welcoming. We had dinner at Richard's Farm Restaurant and it was excellent. We also saw a deer 10 yards from the cottage out back and a muskrat in the pdnd below along with other bird wildlife. Thank you for sharing your country getaway!"

"The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was very cozy and peaceful. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck that looks out over a small lake. We did not make use of them, but we noticed there were kayaks available, fishing docks and a rustic gazebo on the property. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again when in the area. Gloria was very friendly and helpful."

"Our family has done VRBO houses for our family vacations for years and have enjoyed all of them. We found this place last year and loved it so much, we rented it for this year as well. As nice as it was last year, the new owners have taken it up to top level. Incredible upgrades!It has a terrific lake with a dock; all kinds of boats, and paddle boards galore. And it’s so deep right off the dock, you never touch the bottom when you jump in. And the lake is very clean. The fishing right off the dock is great!There is an indoor pool, terrific space!For a family that cooks every meal here…when they say “fully-stocked kitchen”, they aren’t kidding! In the past I have always taken my own pans and appliances with me because I never know what the house will have. This house has everything.The arcade games room downstairs keeps the grandkids happy when the adults need some quiet time.Beds are comfy. The hosts also are incredible. They helped me resolve an issue with the former owner when VRBO’s efforts were lackluster.We have booked again for year 3!Love it!"
