"Staff friendly and efficient, despite having a large but very well behaved french school party. My double room was "cozy" and would have been a squeeze for two people with 18 in bed/wall clearance one side and 30 in bed/sloping wall the other. Ok for single occupation. Access to the room was a maze."

Gain 500 IHG points per day if you don't need housekeeping. Staff very friendly and efficient; nothing too much trouble. Clean rooms and property. Well equipped, comfy room: Fridge, alarm clock, Smart Samsung TV (terrestrial only). Desk. Air Conditioning. Central location with off-site car parking a few minutes away. Clientèle appears to be largely a mix of business and couples. Thanks for a great stay."

"Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. "
