"We were almost the only people there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the tours organised from the lodge were excellent and both overran their projected time considerably. Food was fair but not special. "

"This is a stunner of a place! The grounds are tropical gardens and each cabin is gorgeously designed with local and recyclable materials. breakfast in the garden is divine and dinner in the evenings is hearty with local farm fresh products. To top it all off the owners are so delightful and truly welcoming. A fabulous stay- one we hope to return to! "

"The room is nice and cozy it’s a rustic place. The room was clean a bit cramped but workable. The hotel is like on a small farm there are chickens and rooster, iguanas, lots of butterflies. The road to the river is rocky and when it rains it gets very muddy but this is the charm of a rustic. The staff is amazing "

"We loved our stay at Tenorio Glamping Ranch. It was just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Laura, the ranch manager was very friendly and helpful. The tent was comfortable and well equipped, and the setting was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely return."

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"Excellent location with many activities nearby, the house was well stocked, lots of space for our family, comfortable. There were some things that you would expect in a rain forest such as humidity. "An outstanding hotel Staff were so friendly and helpful Room was stylish, large, lived the outdoor shower 2 restaurants food was excellent in both and wines very good Breakfast was best in Costa Rica - buffet style - lots of choice and delicious Bar area was fun for a pre dinner cocktail and a fun games room Pool area was lovely and tranquil with a great hot whirl pool for relaxing in after morning activities The free afternoon yogo with Jeremy was fantastic and so nice after a day tubing The trail walks were great for bird spotting and we had a nice swim in the Rio Celeste at the bottom Definetely recommend this hotel "

"Our stay here was truly amazing!! Patrick is a great host and very helpful booking tours and the breakfast everyday was so good never the same! And the sweet dogs that came to visit us were amazing (Jackson Emma and Dozer) we fell in love with them and Cora Rica I would definitely recommend this property!"

"Greivin & Heylin thought of everything when creating the Yarumo Lodge Rio Celeste Black Chalet! My family of 4, including 12 and 16 year old sons, had a fabulous weeklong stay at the end of June. The location was easy to find, the hosts were hospitable--welcoming us at arrival with a nice treat and overview of the property, including a resource guide for local attractions, dining, and activities. The beds were comfortable and the full kitchen was stocked with all the cooking essentials to prepare meals from food we purchased at the grocery that's less than 10 minutes away. We look forward to staying here every time we travel to Bijaqua de Upala."
