4/5 - Good
Squaw Valley is outside the park but a short drive to Grant Grove, easy day access to all the sights in the parks.

After visiting Bear Mountain Library, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Yokuts Valley. Wander the parks or discover the area's countryside.

Great alternative to the overpriced lodges in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, and a better experience. Great place to stay near the entrance to the parks before spending an entire weekend driving and hiking through the parks themselves.
