"Made to feel welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wifi was quite hit and miss. I had times where I could not use WeChat or Alipay. Carpets could do with a good clean but overall cleanliness was good. Coffee choice in room was limited, I ended up buying a jar of instant. Breakfast choice was varied and plentiful. On site restaurant had a good choice of menu and was budget friendly. The hotel itself is well situated for the subway and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within an easy wslk."

"The hotel is in a pretty central location, it’s pretty close to Hopson One mall which has plenty of shopping and dining options. The air conditioning units are abysmal and no matter how low you set it, the temperature in my room was averaged between 21°-23° the six nights I spent there even with the AC set at 17°. Staff are kind however they do not speak any English as advertised. It took an unsuccessful phone call, a visit to the front desk, two translation apps and three employees to answer the question ‘What time does the gym open?’. No smoking signs are place throughout the building however it’s so widespread that I could not only smell smoke in but saw several guests smoking and there are ashtrays throughout the corridors of the hotel that are regularly changed out which seemed very contradictory. It’s half-decent for the price but I would not stay again. "

"I recently spent 14 days at a hotel in Beijing, and my stay was a mixed bag. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. However, several aspects of the stay left much to be desired. One of the major challenges was the language barrier at the front desk. The staff members struggled with English and relied solely on a translation app, which made communication difficult and frustrating at times. Despite this setback, the housekeeping staff was exceptional. They were prompt in responding to any requests and maintained the cleanliness of the room to a high standard throughout my stay. One particularly uncomfortable aspect of the stay was the absence of air conditioning, attributed to government policy even in the relatively warm month of April. As a result, some nights were uncomfortably hot and humid. However, after lodging a written complaint, the manager, aptly named Dragon, intervened. Dragon, who spoke perfect English, provided a portable air purifier/indoor exhaust system, which significantly improved the room's comfort level and made the stay more bearable. Despite these challenges, I ultimately rate the hotel five stars. The convenient location, excellent housekeeping staff, and the manager's proactive response to the air conditioning issue outweighed the difficulties encountered at the front desk. Additionally, the presence of reasonable restaurants within walking distance added satisfaction."

"Excellent customer service! Breakfast was included in the booking which was a pleasant surprise. They had a whole range of facilities such as laundry (¥40 for the washer and dryer), fitness centre (fully equipped with the latest treadmills, interactive Peloton tracker, weights area and strength and conditioning section), excellent intercontinental buffet breakfast and extremely clean rooms. The only issue was that none of the staff spoke English. I would have expected at least this for an international chain of hotel. Instead they were using translators. "
