"We didn’t have unrealistic expectations for a property under £200 a night in Devon over a bank holiday—but we did expect it to be clean and safe. It wasn’t. The living room had a large stained, filthy rug. The couch was also stained. Pillows smelled of body odour. Pans, bowls, mugs, and the fridge were dirty. The floor left our socks black. "This little house is in a brilliant and quiet location in a really nice part of Exmouth. It’s full off character (and superb art) and the rear terrace area is lovely. Everywhere in the town is within easy reach of the house and it’s a very comfortable place to spend a few days. Can’t fault it!"

"A stunning home. Fabulous views. Beautifully appointed with 4 spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and a wonderful kitchen and living area that had the best sea views. The gym was really well equipped and a great bonus. The garden is enclosed and was perfect for our dog too. Outside patios and balconies made the most of some great weather. "

"The cottage is lovely located. 25 minutes by foot to the town center and 15 minutes to the river Exe. Parking space direct available in front of the cottage. A small supermarket is nearby. The heating did work without any issues. A dining room is not available.Alison the host was also super quickly in her response if we had any questions. You have also second key to the cottage.We enjoyed our stay at the cottage."
