"I wish I could give this hotel 100 stars. The location was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, the staff service was unbeatable, and the meal they prepared for us was delicious and memorable. The onsen area was clean and beautiful, and I would recommend to anyone to make the trip out to Heda. Truly a unique and special experience and I can’t wait to go back. "

"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. "Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time.
